Welcome to the Millis Massachusetts, American Veterans Post 495 website.
Our post is dedicated to supporting the United States veterans.
Our post is
made up of 3 organizations, the Amvets, Sons of the Amvets and the Ladies
Auxiliary.
The Amvets consists of 256 veterans. The Sons of Amvets are those
men who are husbands, fathers, sons, grandsons,stepsons or brother
of a veteran, their group consists of 95 members. The Ladies Auxiallry
consists of wifes, mothers, sisters, widows, daughters, or granddaughters
of a veteran and has 96 members. Together these groups work to support the
post, conduct fundraisers and have fun doing so. The groups meet the first
Sunday of each month. The president of the Ladies Auxiallary is Diane Conlon
and Dennis Zicko is the Commander of the Sons of Amvets.
Our post is located on 404 Village Street. If you are a veteran, wife, mother, son, daughter
grandson, grand daughter
of a veteran, we encourage you to come join in the
fun. Applications are available at the post,
membership dues are 30.00 annually
You will need a copy of your DD214 or a copy of the DD214
of your relative.

The post hours are as follows:
Monday – Wednesday 3:00 pm- 12:00 am
Thursday – Friday 3:00 pm - 1:00 am
Saturday 12:00 pm - 1:00 am
Sunday 12:00 pm - 12:00 pm

Our post has a function hall available for rental. It holds up to 134 people
and has a full kitchen available for use by yourself or a catering service.
There is a $225.00 charge (per function) for Non members. If the kitchen is utlized
there is a $50.00 refundable deposit that will be returned to you upon inspection of
cleanliness. If you are a member of the post, the hall rental charge is $150.00.
All other charges are applied. Please call or come down the post in order to book an event.
